From the Swatches tab, you can apply solid, gradient, or bitmap fills.

To apply a solid colour:

1. Choose a palette from the Palettes drop-down list.

2. Click the colour you want to apply.

The button on the tab updates to indicate the colour selected.

To apply a transparent fill, click the None swatch.

To apply a gradient or bitmap fill:

1. Click the Fill, Line, or Text button.

2. Choose a category from the Gradient or Bitmap gallery.

3. Click a swatch to apply it.
