Arcus, Arcus+, Arcus II, Arcus 1200, DuoScan, DuoScan HiD, DuoScan T1200, DuoScan T2000 XL, DuoScan T2500, Horizon, Horizon Ultra, StudioScan, StudioScan II, StudioScan IIsi, StudioStar.
How to make FotoLook 3.6 work on Mac OS 10.3
In order to make FotoLook 3.6 work on OS 10.3, you need to replace some sytem files by older system files from OS 10.2.8.
This action is only recommended if you really want to use your scanner on 10.3. A better and safer solution is to keep a partition with 10.2.x and use your scanner on that partition.
First make a backup of your system folder before proceeding. Modifications on system/library can destabilize your system.
If you are familiar with Terminal, make yourself root user and copy the following two files from an old 10.2.8 into the system folder of 10.3
IOSCSIArchitectureModelFamily.kext
IOSCSIParallelFamily.kext
Location: System/Library/Extensions
If you are not familiar with Terminal:
First you need the files IOSCSIArchitectureModelFamily.kext and IOSCSIParallelFamily.kext, from a OSX 10.2.8 system.
On OS10.3 start Applications/utilities/NetInfo Manager
Security/Authenticate (administrator password needed)
Security/Enable Root User (set Root Password)
System preferences/ select your account/ login options
isplay Login Window as: Name and password
Log Out
Log In as root
Copy the above mentioned 10.2.8 files to System/Library/Extensions (overwrite the newer 10.3 files)
Log out as root/ log in as normal user
Как я понял, нужно какие-то файлы из системы 10,2 переписать в 10,3. А у меня ее нет. С английским к меня туговато, может что-то не правильно я понял?
