Ответ: Что покупать - Eye-One Display 2 или X-RITE
Bruce Fraser:
I found that my CG21 always had a pink cast until I used BasICColor. I'd tried Color Navigator with both the i1 colorimeter and spectro, I'd tried calibrating with Color Navigator then using Monaco OPTIX to build the profile, and various other combinations, but whatever I tried the CG21 was always pink compared to the Artisan sitting beside it. BasICColor wth the X-Rite instrument nailed it first try.
Derrick Brown:
Precisely why the ColorEyes version of Display comes with the DTP 94. We get much better neutral results and day to day repeatability having moved to the DTP94 (OPTIX instrument).
Roger Breton:
You mean you get better results with the DTP94 as compared with an EyeOne or other instruments? Which could only mean something 'happy' about X-Rite factory calibration of the DTP-94 and the spectrum of the Eizo CG21, no?
Derrick Brown:
Yes, better results than both the EyeOne and EyeOne Display2
Andrew Rodney:
It has more to do with the filters used by X-Rite in the Optix. That and a few other state of the art refinements to this particular Colorimeter. There are a few reasons why a Colorimeter optimized for display calibration can sometimes produce superior results compared to a Spectrophotometer. IOW, a Spectrophotometer isn't always automatically better.
Karl Koch:
DTP94 is slightly better than the i1 Display, but nevertheless, it's dead as a doornail. I would not invest in a dead instrument, you never know how long the manufacturer will support it, come Vista or Leopard. And the i1 has other advantages as well: you can measure ambient light.
