Stability

• InDesign crashes on bringing Text wrap panel in focus on few machines, either while launching or switching workspace or clicking on the panel icon.
• [macOS only] InDesign hangs while attempting to quit by pressing Cmd-Q.
• Crash on launching InDesign while fetching the license token on slow machines.
• InDesign crashes on launch due to corrupt font.

Improvement to new features

• Workspace resets on creating a new document from Templates in Cmd-N dialog.
• Click on search suggestions not working in InDesign.
• Slider in the Media panel is enabled and can be dragged even though there is no media file.
• Place a video or audio file button in the Media panel is enabled when you launch InDesign and no document is open.
• Total time duration of a media file appears disabled in the Media panel.

Core feature and workflow

• File save location for old converted and OpenAsCopy documents should be the original file folder.
• If a word has a punctuation such as comma or bracket before/after it, and the spell-check flags that word, notice that the punctuation is also flagged along. Attempting to add that word to the dictionary causes an error.
• Shortcuts for New Document dialog and Open document do not work in some cases due to focus issues when InDesign is launched.
• Document is not created on pressing Enter with focus on the Create button in the Cmd-N dialog.
• Adobe Help search bar in the Control panel forwards scrambled text to the internet browser.
• Characters in a text composition go missing when a Zero-width joiner (U+200D) and a Discretionary Line break (U+200B) is inserted.

Scripting

• AppleScript with scpt extension won't open in the Script editor for editing. Instead, the program opens the script in Vscode.

Ну, про ссылку понимаю. По существу не понимаю: в ID2021 открывается файл, созданный в более старой версии. Ему (это можно отключить в преференсах) присваивается к имени слово [Converted]. И сохранять его предлагается не в ту папку, откуда он взялся (это она считается original?), а просто в последнюю папку, куда был сделано какое-то (совершенно другое) сохранение. И как это fixed?

Теперь оно должно "в ту" папку.

У меня происходит не так: открываю старый файл, он показывается как [Converted], и папку, откуда он взялся, InDesign не помнит, а предлагает сохранить в ту папку, куда шло предыдущее (любое) сохранение другого файла. У меня Windows, если что. Так что не пофиксили, похоже.

Я думал, это фича такая, что индизайн при конверсии из старой версии не запоминает папку.
Написал скрипт, который принудительно сохраняет файл под тем же именем в ту же папку, стабильно выручает:

Для активного документа

Всё, вопрос решился. До меня добралось это самое обновление 16.0.1 (была, как оказалось, версия 16.0), и сделалось счастье.
