ProfileMaker
- Improved the Colorful gamut mapping for RGB, CMYK and MultiColor. Expect to see further hue optimizations and increased smoothness. We strongly recommend to use the Colorful gamut mapping as your default setting.
- ProfileMaker 5.0.2 now supports the Eye-One Display V2 measurement instrument for monitor calibration and profile generation that features a new sensor providing higher repeatability, faster measurements and higher sensitivity in the dark areas for better control in shadow detail and a more neutral gray scale.
- Increased the smoothness and cleanness of MultiColor separations, both for CMYK+X as well as for n-Color. The MultiColor profile calculation needs more time now, but the result is well worth it. Please also have a look at new releases of our Adobe Photoshop MultiColor Plug-Ins at www.gretagmacbeth.com .
- Further optimized the CMYK+X profile generation and minimized the amounts of spot colors within gray.
- New profiles and measurement files are detected in all tools and modules of the ProfileMaker suite without having to restart any application. The updated files are either directly displayed or can be seen after simply reopening the appropriate dialogue/chooser.
- The luminance chooser within the monitor calibration is now sticky.

- Fixed a bug with the “lumi” tag within monitor profiles.
- The total ink coverage of the predefined “gravure” CMYK separation setting got changed to a way more meaningful 400%.
MeasureTool
- Fixed a bug that could occur after an aborted Eye-One reference white calibration.
- Fixed a bug that caused problems with the MeasureTool dongle flag detection.
- Fixed a bug that occured when several test chart pages were measured on a SpectroScan.
- Fixed a problem with the SpectroScan T detection.
- Fixed a bug that caused the iCColor not to be found under OS Classic.

- All predefined MultiColor Charts that are installed by ProfileMaker have been regenerated and now offer improved characterization quality. We strongly recommend to use the MultiColor charts provided/generated by MeasureTool test chart generator 5.0.2.
- Changed the way RGB linearization charts are build up in the test chart generator.
- DTP41 test charts are now limited to max 100 rows per page, 98 colors rows and 2 black rows.
- Changed the iCColor CSV handling. In some rare cases the old behavior could lead to an overflow within the measurement instrument.
- Fixed a bug that prevented the DTP41 to measure the FOGRA media wedge in scan mode.
- Fixed a bug within the test chart generator that could lead to severe user interface problems under Windows 98.

- Gradation corrections in ProfileEditor will now work correctly for Matrix-TRC profiles.
- Gray profiles can now be edited correctly in ProfileEditor.
- Internal profile names of ICC4 profiles are now displayed correctly in ProfileEditor.
- Fixed a bug in the ProfileEditor post-linearization functionality. Please only use this feature with linearization charts generated by MeasureTool test chart generator 5.0.2.
- Fixed a bug that caused long profile names to be cut in ProfileEditor gamut view.

Про ColorPicker
ColorPicker
- The new ColorPicker 5.0.2 now supports up to 10 channel profiles and also offers increased functionality as well as a modified user interface. Maximum Amount of Channels allows you to influence the number of channels that are used for the calculation (e.g. calculate spot colors based on 3 channels out of a 6 color profile) and Minimum Ink Coverage allows you to set a range between 0% and a defined ink coverage that will not be used for the calculation (e.g. avoid ink coverages smaller than 6% for flexo). Furthermore it is now possible to process several colors simultaneously.
- Added 3 new UV Cut libraries in both the test chart generator and the ColorPicker in order to support workflows with UV Cut measurement instruments. Please use the appropriate library depending on your measurement instrument. 6 libraries are available for solid, uncoated and matte medias, each as UV Cut and non-UV Cut.
- ColorPicker now supports a new export format for device and Lab colors: "Tab delimited text" can be used to import the data into Fujifilm FinalProof GxT.
