Enhanced Features in Preps 5.2.2
QuarkXPress 7.x compatibility and new Kodak PXT 7.0 software
Preps 5.2.2 supports PDF files that were created using QuarkXPress® 7 software, and it provides a Kodak PXT 7 extension for generating suitable PostScript® files. Documents that explain how to create source files for Preps from QuarkXPress 7 are available and include a user guide for PXT 7.
Japanese online help for Preps 5.2
Preps 5.2.2 includes Preps 5.2 online help for the Japanese version.
Printing to a device size that is smaller than the press sheet
Preps 5.2.2 will now output to a media size that is smaller than the sheet size for all output types in both mixed files jobs and native PDF jobs. This allows flexibility for unique workflows, including digital presses, because the sheet size can be larger than the media (plate or film). Output can be generated without the need for tiling, and, as a result, the final output size will be the size of the Preps device media size.
Additional enhancements
• Preps now retains the Host-based print separation setting from one job to the next.
• New SHIFT+right-click shortcut opens a template from the Signature List on Mac OS® and Windows®.
• Warning message now appears when printing to a device media size that is smaller than the sheet size.
• New SmartMark for NELA plate-bending systems helps ensure accurate positioning on the cylinder.
• Several previously identified software problems are fixed in this release.

За день работы ни разу не вывалился, что периодически случалось с 5.2.1
